Dr. Max sat down with Bill Zortman this week to throw back to how they first met. They talked about how they first met at a golf show ten years to the day.
They went on to talk about how you have to learn for a lifetime to get the best chiropractor. You can learn the curriculum at school, but it takes years of learning to perfect the best way to practice to get a patient well. It takes development over years to get better at what you do. Dr. Jorde spent a long time learning from DR. Max because the patients are used to getting results. At Jorde Chiropractic we encourage people to get better not just hang around with no results.
They go on to talk about the way that Jorde Chiropractic does adjustments. We use muscle testing to tap into the nervous system so that it can tell us the best way to treat our patients. The muscle testing helps us find nerve impingement. He goes on to talk about how not every fix is at the end of a bottle of medicine, a lot of time it can be fixed with other methods. Things like sinus headaches, jaw aches, shoulder aches can all be looked at through a chiropractic lens.
When asked if he was going to miss practicing chiropractic Dr. Max said he wouldn't. Mostly because he has been talking some steps back over the last few years. He will also be able to take care of his family as a chiropractor.
When Dr. Max put out the ad for an associate ten years ago, he was told by colleagues that he wouldn't find anyone to fit his bill. But then Dr. Jorde came along with his humility and empathy. He has been Dr. Max's chiropractor for a number of years. He has been doing better in the three years since Josh took over the clinic, than before Dr. Max was getting regular adjustments.
He closed out the segment with a challenge. If you are even thinking about going to a chiropractor give us a call at 605-335-0880.
